Robbin, If you want to rebuild the brakes yourself, check Eastern Marine's trailerparts.com site. I found the things I needed to rebuild my trailer for much less than any local source. Whitebeard

Folks, I have had my M-23 trailer inspected and it needs new brakes. And a couple other minor items but mostly brakes. In fact, one of the drum brakes simply has no internal parts as they were at some point removed. So we would be talking completely new brake assemblies and a surge coupler and all the lines to connect. To have the shop do it is around $1300. Can you lend me your opinions about refurbing this double axle trailer vs. purchasing new.
