I've been refurbishing my trailer, and since it was neccessary to replace the tongue, I had them make the new one three feet longer.  The old post was also replaced and the new one can be moved forward or backward since it is attached with U-bolts.  When I pulled the boat last week to clean her bottom,  I found that the post was too far forward. With the boat situated about right on the bunks, there was still a gap of 18 inches or so between the bow and the hard rubber snubber.  Since I had a race that day, I didn't make the adjustments right there (Miss T is in the water year-round), and now I'm wondering just what the designed distance is.  Does anyone know how far it is from the inside edge/end of one bunk to the center of the snubber?
