I don’t know the definition of “worth sailing”, but I am very fond of my newer 17, and I think that some other owners might be satisfied with theirs as well. That said, I hope that every one of Jerry’s boats is kept afloat and enjoyed for decades to come, because M17’s are a fine craft for the appropriate owner. Tom J, M17 #626, 2004. Geez Shaun, What a job! I think it would be worth the cost though. Short of buying a brand new Sage 17 (mucho denaro), rehabbing one of Jerry's original boats is the only way to end up with something worth sailing. I read a report from an Ex- EEG customer and it did not sound very good for the newer (old mold) boats coming out and being called M-17's. "Good on ya" for keeping one of the classics seaworthy.
