Jeff In ref to the diesel question, the older Goverment Motors diesels were JUNK but about 3 or 4 years ago they storted using Isuzu engines and they are much better. I have absalutely no experiance with diesels, just repeating what I have heard. I do have a 32 ft motormome with a v10 Ford with over 100000 miles that is still going strong. The mh grosses about 19000 lbs and we tow a Jeep Wrangler or our M17 all across the country, alittle slow on the hills and gas mileage is in the mid single digits but very reliable.
