M_Boats: New member introduction

Hi, my name is Carol and I grew up sailing a Montgomery 17 along the Gulf Coast of Tx with my dad. After he passed, the boat sat for nearly 15 years, but I'm proud to report that she has been resurected! Although I had not sailed in over 20 years, my husband and I have made it our mission to make her seaworthy and learn to sail her. We are in Michigan and we primarily stick to inland lakes, but look forward to gaining enough experience and confidence to tackle the Great Lakes! And what an amazing boat! We are overwhelmed by the compliments we get on her.
