Hi Bob, Another thought: Also get yourself the WEST Epoxy book on fiberglass repairs. As I recall it's free, or only at nominal cost today. They give you all the details of fixing dings, dents, crazed gelcoat (of course with the use of their WEST products). An invaluable book as a reference, and a "How To" book. It was my "bible" for years. When you start, remove any external hardware that keeps you from working on a clean surface: I'm thinking of things like oar lock sockets, rudder gudgeons; outboard brackets; or towing eye at the bow. With items like that removed, you aren't trying to work around the hardware. It makes the work a lot simpler and easier. Connie
