Hi Larry, I owned SeaGray, an '91 aft cabin NS27 for 4 years. I loved it and absolutely hated having to sell her. The only reason I did was because the water here on the outer banks of NC are just too shallow, i.e. 2-3' and also because I wasn't using her for what she was intended. I liked the aft cabin. The only downside was getting to the rear cleats in a hurry. But that was more than made up for having all the wonderfull space and additional sleeping space. It was great for taking folks for an overnighter and they could have the main salon and I would take the aft cabin or vice versa. Fabulously sailing boat. Rock hard and easily shouldered through 4-6' waves. I seldom used the dodger. It was great. I'm thinking about one of the little pram montys the 6-8.? Also, If you were to move up would anyone get a Nor'sea 27?? A guy in my town has one he is restoring (ready in two years or so).? It would be a good time for me to put in a bid since then I could get some choice as to interior.? It's an Aft Cockpit, I like Aft Cockpits but they tend to not be as popular as the Aft Cabin.? Thoughts? At your service Larry Pegg Pilgrim M-17 #55 _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
