Our PS Flicka is a '78: According to the accompanying link, the first Flicka was built in ferrocement in '72. Bingham built a 'glass plug in '74 that Nor'Star Marine used to build the first production hull in '75. Pacific Seacraft acquired the Nor'Star mold in '77. In 2000, Bob told me that he had some Pacific Seacraft craftsmen working for him at Nor'Sea. So, perhaps it's a stretch, but the Flicka and the Monty could be said to be distant cousins. :-) --Craig http://www.coslink.net/personal/flickafriends/history/page2.html ----- Original Message ----- From: <htmills@bright.net> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 19, 2003 7:46 PM Subject: Flicka Hi, Scott Wow, I didn't know that no Flicka has yet managed a circumnavigation. As long as the boat's been around (late 70's?) you'd think someone would have done it. Tod
