Wayne,
I did purchase new blocks and have gone with 3/8" as a few others suggested.  Thanks,
Doug

Are you buying all nerw blocks and line or trying to match new line to existing 3/4" blocks ?
I use 3/8" halyards, it's stronger than needed but easier to hold than smaller line, & a pretty good compromise
on the cost/comfort relationship.
My recommendation would be 5/16" or 3/8" line.

Subject: M_Boats: line/ block size

Hi,
Wondering about safe line and block size for main sheet on my M-17.  What I have at 3/4" and blocks to match seem large.  Please advise.
Thanks,
