I towed her from Fla to Az with our Tahoe...but it truly was the tail wagging the dog. She is about 6k or so and the tongue is heavy..,,I'd guess 700 but I've never weighed it. Yes, a 3/4 TON would be the best bet for sure. Sent from my Verizon 4G LTE Smartphone

Hi Bill, I use a 30 watt portable solar panel for my M17. It is built like a brief case and unfolds. I set it up in the cockpit while I'm slipped or at anchor. Plugs into a DC jack in the cockpit. It has a built in regulator as well. The panel came from Goal Zero. Nice thing about this setup is that you can easily move it from boat to boat to campsite to RV etc....... Hi Tom, Yes, a 12 volt cigar type plug will work, make sure there is a in-line fuse somewhere. I use the Seadog smaller 2-pin connector. It comes with a rubber cover boot and mounts nicely in the cockpit by the transom. Dauntless is a wonderful M23. I had the pleasure of sailing her with Larry Yake at the Havasu event a few years back. Sean has lavished her with TLC. If someone out there has ever dreamed of picking up the rare M23, now would be the time. They don't come up for sale often. The stars must be aligned, there are 2 on the market now. Hey Gang, The time has come for us to sell Dauntless. We put her up for sale about a year ago, and actually sold her for the asking price... but I was unable to go through with the sale and backed out. I should have let her go. Our personal situation is different now, and we will let her go. At this time I am putting her back up for sale and not wanting to wait a long time to sell her, for personal reasons. As such, we are dramatically lowering the offering price in the hopes of finding someone to give her a new home fairly quickly. I am going to post a link to the previous ad here. Everything is pretty much the same except she currently only has one battery on board (the second battery station is there , just the battery is removed) and the asking price is $17,500.....NOT $25K. HA! mileage??? We don't measure our mileage in miles.... we use yards... LOL Seriously though.... Our Arctic Fox 1140 is a slide out camper....pretty big and heavy. With the whole rig including the boat.... I see around 7-8mpg for the 1500 mile trip at highway speed. But.. on a three day drive to the San Juans I figure the hotel costs saved even it out... :-) We are asking $49 for the truck camper combo.... buy the whole thing and we'll go with $65K.

Your wife will probably kill me for telling you this Chris....but our F-350 Dually with Arctic Fox cabover camper that we tow Dauntless with for the long hauls, is for sale too... :-)
