Hi Neil, I'd love to join you on the Estuary on July 7th., but we are heading for Angel Island that day and will be returning on July 11. Keep me posted as to when you are coming down next. You can buy a real whisker pole from Defender Industries fairly cheaply. Have a great sail, Bert Felton PS We are taking Zephyr to Jackson Lake, WY, this summer. I still have to hook up my running lights and electrical panel.

Hey Neil and they rest of the Bay Area Crowd, My wife and I have a Monty 17 (Molly) in the water at Brickyard cove...Don't think I can bring my boat, but sure would like to learn about tuning from Jerry. Please keep me informed of any meeting and I'll try to make it. Michael Ray Wisely

This could be a great race, I've seen Doug sail and he is a capable sailor and as we all know Jerry knows a thing or two about making an M boat go fast. Just hope Sean (Daultless) or another M boater will be able to film it and post to Youtube Gary Valetti

Never mind the use of the term "cabin" is a stretch here...even compared to the M15. But I am confident your Sage 17, even with less waterline, would give this beauty a run for it's money ;-) Just kind of fun to see what the Europeans are up to... Neil

If any of you semi locals want to get together for a day's tuning session for the sake of going faster in the CC, i'd volunteer to meet you at Folsom or any other reasonable location. I like to see you guys going fast! jerry

Jerry, Let's see what the consensus is and who is racing. I'm going to Alameda on 7/7 regardless but if you get a rendevous going at Folsom before or after that I'll try to make it as well. Also, as we talked about at Havasu, I have some further standing rigging adjustments I'd love for you to look at, if you could bring your swaging tool. And I'm an old So Cal person myself. I miss the casual sailing from Marina Del Rey North, past the Santa Monica Pier and across the Santa Monica Bay. I don't miss the freeways, crowds, and smog. One of these days I'll drag my boat down there for a week for old times sake. Thanks Neil
