Hi All, New to the Photo Site... First, there is the maiden voyage of Sean Mulligan's M23. The photos came from Sean Site, so you may have seen them - they are good enough to look at twice. Mark Nash-Ford's M15 with a nice cockpit cover and he's added winches. Not only does M15 Bella have lines run aft, she also has a barney post and crossed sheets. Nice album. Bill, I noticed your pictures on the Monty photo site and admired your sails. I liked the full batten main and am curious if you noticed a difference in the sailing characteristics of Storm Petrel. Would you mind telling me what you bought for a sail inventory and are you using all of them on a regular basis? Lastly, could you tell me who made your sails and how to contact them. M15 Sails

I've sent e-mails to 3 different companies looking for a heavy weather jib, maybe a 70%. So for I haven't had a response. Anyone care to offer suggestions? Joe Moore

Bill: Yes, it's a flush-decker. Identical to the Ensenada 20, except the RKs had 4 opening ports vs 2 deadlights in the Ensenada. I think that the Ensenadas were built on the west coast, RKs were built back east. Monty sighting

Saw a lovely Montgomery being towed south on 2nd W. just at the Centerville/Bountiful divide today around 4pm. Wonder who it belongs to. RK20 advice

All: Thanks a bunch for the RK20 advice. The boat wouldn't be for me... it's for a friend, but I'd be the one helping him to fix it. The choice is between that or a ODay 22 (not sure if it's a centerboard model or not). My poor friend is a lost soul... he's got hardly any money but is dying for a sailboat. I think I'm steering him towards the RK, even though the O'Days have a higher book value. A little tender is OK, though I am surprised to hear it doesn't point too well... I figured if Lyle designed it, it'd outperform most any trailerable short of a J-boat or as Cal20. Anyway, thanks for the help. Best BG

Hi All: Does Anyone have any experience with an RK20, good, bad or otherwise? This is another Lyle Hess design. There's one for sale here (it was my #2 choice after my Monty) and I've got a friend with a SERIOUS sailing jones but very little money, and I'm steering him towards it. I think it's in bad shape, no trailer, but I think we can fix it. Best BG
