Video Update #4 (The Return)
Hi People, Not much progress to report since I received a copy of the PGTW on laserdisc. I've decided to start mailing tapes out May 31 whether I receive additional material or not. So, anyone who wants to share their videos with 35+ people will have to have them in my mailbox by that date. Of course, late parcels get forwarded to Myke's dog. 8-) I will extend the deadline though if we find out by then that a new MWH video is imminent. I need the following videos: Open Your Eyes (any copy that is complete from start to finish) (mine has annoying dropouts) Chain Reaction, Freeways, 1972, Living In China or any other videos that have not yet surfaced. Anything that's better quality than the previous compilation from 6 years ago. btw, if anyone wants a copy immediately, just say the word and I'll arrange to send you what I currently have. But be warned that you may miss out on additional material. Also, I may have access to a JVC 7000 in June which might improve the quality somewhat. Thanks Senz ______________________________________________________________________ Games, Movies, Music & Sports! http://entertainment.yahoo.ca
Thanks for the update Senz. Listen up people! Let's get it in gear and get Senz the material he needs to complete this project. What's a JVC 7000? Sounds ominous. *It wouldn't be a DVD burner would it? *keeping fingers crossed.... The JVC 7000 was the primary duplication machine that companies used to mass produce VHS tapes. The quality is as about as good as VHS can possibly be. The problem with producing a DVD isn't just that we need a DVD burner... It's also in compressing the videos so they look decent. If not done right, DVDs can end up looking like an SVCD or worse. People make careers out of being professional compressionists! On the other hand, if anyone DOES have a DVD burner and knows what they are doing when producing DVD quality video, let me know and maybe we can get that project started too!
