Hey all, this is Angie (formerly from Massachusetts, Maine, Montreal, and now living in Jacksonville). As some of you might recall, I was heavily involved in this list from 97 through 99. That was when we were trying to hire the band to do a live private show. But the plan never materialized, mainly because the band expressed their unwillingness to perform their older material for us, rather than the new material they were promoting at the time. Although this was understandable, the list members, in turn, were unwilling to front around $100 apiece for tickets, plus travel expenses to Canada, to see a show in which they would not hear their very favorite MWH music. So, the whole plan fell apart. Still, I've of course remained a fan of MWH through the years (albeit a somewhat less "fanatical" fan than I was in the 80s and 90s). I would like to know, aside from Myke, Moose, and Collin from Ithaca and Savannah and Timbuktu, :-), who else is here from the days of old? What happened to Claude Gregoire who invited me to his place to watch his exclusive videos of Ivan interviews and so kindly escorted me around Montreal to the record shops downtown so I could add to my MWH collection? What happened to Laura from South Carolina who drove for 24 hours straight to meet up with some Montreal Hatters and see Ivan at Olympic Stadium when he was promoting his "Spell" album? What about Tom, who took the video of that day? Where are all you old standbys?

This is Chris (Aka Smoky on the cyboard) checking in. Still on here, been quiet lately, enjoying this Michigan weather (did make it home from Royal Oak w/o crashing.) Still listening to Synth-pop, and we can dance... (dansez!) Fell asleep the other night listening to 80s artists, after "The Great Ones Remember" came "The Metro" although I was dreaming I was watching Ivan on stage singing it...riding on the metroooooooo. :-PPP Chris (the cup runeth ove __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? oh, in that case try loading http://www.citrusgrove.com/mp3/x5aestheticv109.mp3 & seeing if your foot taps! its still a vaguely rough version with the vocals mixed a bit too high but is already making a few europeans take note. this track is aimed squarely at the euro market so the 4-on-the-floor is there for a reason! the rest of album 2 is a lot darker. anyways, lemme know what you think! d:-) <--moose wearing a hat email : moose@alaskahighway.com music sites : http://www.alaskahighway.com address : alaska highway p.o.box 70078 pasadena ca 91117-7078 usa
Ineresting Piece, I can see its still a rough demo, but keep on working on it, its not bad. I've a few of my own, but I've not committed them to mp3 yet. Chris --- moose <moose@pigpendigital.com> wrote:
