that sounds like you need to be drugged to like it :)
nah. i just saying that if someone is infavourably disposed toward an album, or anything for that matter, entering an altered state of consciousness can free one from one's normal views/perceptions/opinions, and thus open one to experiences that would have otherwise not have happened due to a pre-existing attitude that would have prevented it. it can also make one aware of subleties that may have been missed, again because of the same sorta thing, but it is kept thereafter. moose seems to be attached to the sounds, and thus could be missing the FEEL of the album, the message conveyed, so i suggested smokin it! i really think if he gave it a coupla more spins, specially if stoned outta his gourd, he could develop a long-lasting appreciation for the album. i have never encountered anything that i need to be drugged to like. i have developed tastes for new things that i was closed to before, and the appreciation persists long long after the effects of whatever it is i ate wear off. and moose- i will try to catch your show if you get a date set up in l.a. if you could drop me a line (i might forget to check the site- terrible with time) and let me know when you have a date set up, i will totally go if i can. rain
