Alec, The concert that I have is from '82 too. It has almost the same track listing; however include an instrumental piece between "midnight" and "in my room", but "tuesday" track is regrettely missing. Also the "don't go" and the "other side of love" has some minor playback problems due to analogue tape recording was damage. Anyway, the sound quality and digital transfer are amazing for an old tape recording. Maybe we could trade our copies. Let me know privately. I don't know the exact location but it is from '82. I don't know how many shows Yaz ever performed but I believe this to be a pretty rare event to have recorded. Here's the set list. Gary Numan live circa '79 during the Living Ornaments Tour, and Double Live 'Ipswich' album... (both bootleg vinyl - good recordings - will transfer to CD). Yellow Magic Orchestra, live double '79, and live double '84. Tangerine Dream bootleg (circa '77). Devo 'Workforce to the World' live bootleg (circa '79) - sounds like they're playing to friends at a party - good quality though. Let me know. Sterling

Hey everyone, I just finished mastering my live MWH show to CD. I've titled this release Men Without Hats - Sounds Familiar. Sorry but I misinformed you before. The show I have was actually recorded at Spit Nightclub in Levittown, NY not at the Roseland Ballroom. I have created CD cover art for this release and uploaded the covers to this website: http://www.cdcovers.cc/ Just search under Men Without Hats and you'll find the "Sounds Familiar" front and back covers. Just right click and save the image. The back cover has the setlist and times. I have this CD, Sounds Familiar, available for trade. I have already traded for the ROY and Freeways shows I wanted (Thank you Russ!) but I want everyone else who wants a copy to be able to get one. I will trade for any live shows, demos or remixes I don't have by the following artists: Depeche Mode, Alphaville, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Beastie Boys and Nine Inch Nails. I will consider offers of other 80's artists too so tell me what you have. In case you're interested I also have live WLIR concert broadcasts of the following bands but I haven't transferred them to CD yet: Yaz, Inxs, Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw, The Cars, Erasure, Billy Idol, The Cure and Depeche Mode. Hello everyone

Hey there all you MWH fans! I'm new here and would like to introduce myself. I'm 35, male, born in NY, went to college in Miami, FL and now live in Austin, TX. I was a huge MWH fan in the 80's and still am. I caught them live once at Hofstra University on Long Island and was front row, center. It was awesome! I still have my Rhythm of Youth concert ragtop and ticket stubs as well as an autograpghed Xmas card from the men. In my record collection I have every album and 12" Single released. What I'm really looking for is some live shows. I have heard of the ROY and FREEWAYS live shows. I would love to trade some CDR's with you if you have these shows to trade. I have the BBC Rock Hour #442 on vinyl that I could transfer to CDR and I also have an awesome live show from '83 from a radio broadcast live on WLIR FM, NY from the Roseland Ballroom. This CDR is a transfer from cassette tape but is of outstanding quality as it's first generation. I taped the show myself off the radio and now that I finally have a CD burner I am able to offer it to you in trade. If you have the ROY or FREEWAYS concerts on CDR and want to trade please let me know. I would be thrilled to hear from any of you MWH fans out there.
