[math-fun] Road Sign Math
Note that the road-sign-math website uses the excellent jsMath package to display math: http://www.math.union.edu/~dpvc/jsMath/welcome.html The jsMath author lists the same problems with mathML that I have found (hard to author, requires users to install special packages on many browsers...). What century are we in? Why is it still so difficult to display math on the web? --ErikN On Mar 28, 2006, at 9:22 PM, Henry Baker wrote:

What decade is this? Why are we cursed with non-WYSIWYG TEX which has embedded "secret" codes like something from the 60's? Just leave out one $ or { or try to format a complex table or equation by using only printed directions!
