Warren said: "Now that I finally see Gosper's ideas, wow!" Me: that's exactly what I said after hearing Bill give this talk at an AMS meeting in Boston some 30 years ago. I thought (and still think) that it was one of the greatest talks I've ever heard. I also felt that the audience didn't sufficiently appreciate it - it was too extraordinary. Neil
