Funsters interested in fractal sequences should also check out Lionel Levine's paper at http://math.berkeley.edu/~levine/ "Fractal sequences and restricted Nim," (pdf) He found that the nim sequences for a class of impartial games are fractal sequences. -- Richard Nowakowski
