My previous experience with Word's equation editor left much to be desired. Word supposedly handles "html" files. Does anyone know if it can handle html subscripts & superscripts? At 06:47 PM 1/30/2008, Kerry Mitchell wrote:

Is there a way to do half-decent-looking integrals and summations in Word?

I've been seriously bitten once by different *browsers* not handling sub/super-scripts consistently. One rendered an exponent as a factor (like 2n instead of 2^n) leading to much head-scratching and wasted time. Whatever you use for authoring, you may want to consider rendering the result into PDFs or some other format less subject to "artistic interpretation".
