Integer n = 562576374032409 is unique in the sense that n and n+1 are sums of two cubes: n = 60684^3 + 69734^3, n+1 = 65521^3 + 65522^3 and also n is the taxi-cab number: n = 60684^3 + 69734^3 = 65340^3 + 65702^3. Is n the least such number? Are there larger such numbers? Zak

In the runup to the California primary election, we've had "meet the candidates" public meetings. At one of these, someone came up with the word "obamanation". -- Gene From: rwg <rwg@sdf.org> To: math-fun <math-fun@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2016 11:41 AM Subject: Re: [math-fun] German is easier than I thought it was Such writings were a fairly regular feature in the 1950s Saturday Evening Post. Wikipedia suggests back "as far as 1955 at IBM". A Google books search has it in a 1959 Virginia Librarian with the attribution: "Sign near a computer at AEC facility, Los Alamos, New Mexico".
