[math-fun] Works of A.A. Karatstuba
Hello, I received this news about the works of A.A. Karatsuba, http://link.springer.com/journal/11501/276/1/page/1 2) the second volume: http://link.springer.com/journal/11501/280/2/suppl/page/1 with the paper :"Scientific achievements of Anatolii Alekseevich Karatsuba" http://link.springer.com/article/10.1134/S0081543813030012 3) the third volume: http://link.springer.com/journal/11501/282/1/suppl/page/1 http://link.springer.com/article/10.1134/S0081543813070018 This is all interesting, but well they ask about 35 euros for each article, it sums up to about 1400 euros, nearly 2000 dollars for the collected works of about 600 pages. These guys at Springer are very greedy. I hope someone will find a way to gather all of these precious papers and distribute them for free. In Russia, 35 euros for 1 article is quite an amount of money for knowledge, this is a shame. Even if the articles are excellent this is way too much. Best regards, Simon Plouffe
Make Springer the following offer: If you split one of these articles into two equal pieces, I'll pay you 35/2*1.5 euros for both pieces, assuming that I'm allowed to split the articles again recursively. :-) At 03:09 PM 9/23/2013, Simon Plouffe wrote:

Many Springer publications are available for free download at subscribing libraries. See if you can get access at your university library. -- Gene
