No, because the next number he'd be prompted with would be the last in some run beginning with 3511, rather than 3511 itself (which is why I made the weaker-but-more-accurate joke I did instead of that one...). -- g

I think that when I have kids and give them an allowance, instead of the old "linear/exponential growth" option, I'll be much more generous, and give them the output of the 2-state busy beaver function (\Sigma{2,m}) for each month m. As long as they provide me with an exact and rigorous invoice.
