Btw, when I e-mailed Johnson a few years ago, he was still working on completing his magnum opus, which I think is this same classification (or am I confused?). Norman Johnson died in 2017; his Wikipedia article mentions the status of his late work. He completed _Geometries and Transformations_, which was published this year; he left an unfinished work on uniform polytopes, which will also be published in some form.
