Very impressive! You know, I often think what a pity it is that we can't seem to get the people who can create demos like this to talk to the people who can find the time and patience to make them widely available. But it's only the ancient dichotomy between research and publication, albeit in a novel medium. WFL On 3/15/12, Bill Gosper <billgosper@gmail.com> wrote:

They don't need to anymore. Gosper can use Mma to create 3-D CAD models (see [1]), then he or anyone who wants the physical model can use Shapeways [2] or a similar competing service, or their own 3-d printer, to print them. - Robert [1a] http://blog.wolfram.com/2007/07/19/3d-printing-with-mathematica/ [1b] http://www.wolfram.com/technology/guide/3DPrintingScanningSupport/ [2] www.shapeways.com -- Robert Munafo -- mrob.com Follow me at: gplus.to/mrob - fb.com/mrob27 - twitter.com/mrob_27 - mrob27.wordpress.com - youtube.com/user/mrob143 - rilybot.blogspot.com
