The dome/cupola/whatever of RD headquarters was visible from my alma mater, Horace Greeley High School. It's a couple of miles north of downtown. I was told that RD listed its mailing address as Pleasantville (a town a few miles south) because the Chappaqua post office wasn't able to handle their volume of mail. But it was in Chappaqua.
