If a digital versions is OK, try http://libgen.is/search.php?req=Introduction+to+Probability+Theory+and+Its+A... About mildew/smell: if you want to get rid of it, bleach is you friend. Use an unperfumed one, and as strong as you can buy. No-name "hospital grade" was what I bought for this purpose back in Australia. The work and time involved is nontrivial, though. I also had to sacrifice the cover, but the initial condition of the book was significantly worse than what you describe. Best regards, jj * Dan Asimov <dasimov@earthlink.net> [May 10. 2020 08:08]:
Does anyone have a copy of
*[volume 2]* of "Introduction to Probability Theory and Its Applications" — 2nd edition, by William Feller — *[copyright 1971]*
in *very good condition* that they'd be willing to sell (or donate) to me?
I recently bought a copy online that turned out to be in much worse physical condition than advertised plus strongly smelling of mildew, so I need another copy to replace it.
If you do, please write me directly at <asimov@msri.org>.
Many thanks,
Dan
