Jeff Lagarias just told me that Odlyzko had found some zeroes that weren't on the critical line, but the margin was too small to contain them. R.
Ha ha ha! (For those funsters not familiar with the problem, the "margin" is the critical strip 0<sigma<1, and all nontrivial zeros fall in that strip.
