I read once about a solution for a loaf-formed cake, but that makes no difference here, here's the circular version: One eater takes the knife and makes a cut from center to perimeter. then, the cake is slowly rotated, with the knife above the same position. The first eater (including the one with the knife) who screams gets the piece that's cut at the knife's position and is out of the competition. Then the rotation is continued until either each eater has a piece or no cake is left. It's each eater's decision how much that will be.
