Well, that's why they teach you to read first, so you can learn stuff on your own. We all went through the system, and we all learned invaluable life lessons about self-reliance in education. I invented doodling methods, developed calligraphy skills, and learned to hold my breath for over two minutes at a time waiting for class to end. Write the courses yourself and put them on the web. Make them interactive, use animated illustrations. Start a revolution. Parents would be delighted. It would set new world-wide educational standards, reduce costs, etc. Hilarie
