Hello Math-fun fans, Take a standard set of (28) dominoes (0 spot to 6) and arrange them in a 2x28 rectangle. Give now 27 vertical cuts so to produce 28 vertical slices like this one: +---+ | 5 | +---+ | 2 | +---+ See those slices as fractions (the one above reads 5/2) Add them all. Questions: 1) Which is the lowest reachable total? 2) Which is the lowest integer total? Note: Division by zero is of course not recommended... Best, É.
