--well, I'd like to know that myself... I do not have a full explanation/understanding for what is going on here... However, I observe the following pattern for the particular t that I gave: t = 101000100000000111111111111111100000000000000000000000000000001(binary) note the "gap sizes" between the 1's (or -1's) are 1, 3, 7, 15, 31 a sequence I'm sure you recognize. -- Warren D.
