EA: "If I'm not wrong, there are more occurrences of <occurence> than occurrences of <occurrence> in the OEIS." You have to be careful here. Look at the actual hits (in bold) when you search for 'occurence'. I see 'occurs', 'occurring', 'occurred', 'occur', and 'occurring', in the first two pages of the results. I don't see any occurrence of 'occurence'.
