At least in the U.S. we have this problem that most math teachers (at least before 9th grade) are non-specialists in math who often dislike math as much as anyone, and this attitude is conveyed from each generation of teachers to the next. --Dan Fred wrote: << An inspirational, committed, capable teacher.
