Stan Isaacs archived the papers, which are now part of the Special Collections, Green Library, Stanford. Details at http://www-sul.stanford.edu/depts/spc/xml/sc0647.xml. Stan will give a short presentation about the collection at the Martin Gardner Celebration on Oct 21, at Stanford. And we hope to have a few papers on display, pending approval from the library. Does anyone in the math-fun list know what's happening with all of Martin Gardner's files of correspondence?
It's obvious to me that they have archival value, but is it obvious to anyone who has the resources to actually make this happen?
