[math-fun] quadratic equations and Jung's "Red Book"

Sara Corbett's lengthy article (Sept 16, NY Times, here: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/20/magazine/20jung-t.html?scp=1&sq=Red%20Book... ) about Carl Jung's "Red Book" contains the following slightly amusing sentence: "Giving a dream to a Jungian analyst is a little bit like feeding a complex quadratic equation to someone who really enjoys math."
