Hello, I know one thing about these random bits, in lottery systems they use a mathematical algorithm + a blank circuit that returns noise that they filter to produce random bits of 0 and 1. This method ensure that even if you can get your hand on one of the devices : it won't reproduce the same ones and zeros because it depends on the physical property of the circuit itself, each circuit has it's own signature, impossible to reproduce. ... of course by using bits of pi in binary somewhere it is possible too but as far as I know, too many people know about this and no properties have been established yet on the binary digits on most real numbers anyway, apart some weak results recently on one Feigenbaum constant.
