Keith, we do have the sequence 10, 0, 1, 5, 2, 8, 4, 15, 3, 12, 10, 40, 7, ..., which of course you will immediately recognize. It also has an easily remembered A-number, A030000 There is also the companion 0, 1, 5, 2, 9, 6, 46, 3, 53, 10, 50, 7, 17, 47, ..., A018856.
