The sort of function I'm worried about is 2 x sin(1/x) - cos(1/x) if x is not zero, f(x) = 0 if x is zero. This function has an antiderivative, namely x^2 sin(1/x) if x is not zero, F(x) = 0 if x is zero, but is f(x) Riemann integrable? (Note that it isn't continuous.) Jim
