In the song "Let It Go" from the new Disney film "Frozen", the character Elsa sings "My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around." It's too bad Mandelbrot isn't around to see his word/meme hitting this new milestone in its penetration of American popular culture. Or would he be just as glad not to have lived to see this day?
