They're getting n as a variable and n as a function confused: n(1/3) is being read as an evaluation of the function n at the point 1/3 rather than n/3. Replacing the function name with f, the indefinite integral says int(n^4 + f(1/3)) dn = n^5 + n*f(1/3) + constant which is correct.
