Just in case I am not the only one to get a blank for the 'tau' in "eta(tau)" (start of cited line): https://codepoints.net/U+1D6D5 The font I use in xterm does not show it, but emacs' font does (though they should be identical), so I open messages like Bill's (that have blanks where obviously symbols should show) for editing, just to see them displayed correctly. The equivalent symbol for eta is https://codepoints.net/U+1D702 Funny enough, it displays OK on my xterm. Usefully yours, jj
