I have a friend who worked at Acuson, and he has a "Ron Mayer" as a connection on LinkedIn. This Ron Mayer worked at Acuson as a "Firmware Engineer" in the early 1990's and is now the CTO at Forensic Logic. (He's listed under http://www.forensiclogic.com/management/ ). I think it is more than likely this is the same guy. I'd guess you can contact him through Forensic Logic. If that doesn't work, and if you want, I can ask Chris to connect you to him through LinkedIn (this would be the first time I'll actually *use* LinkedIn, other than to "accept" connection requests from co-workers and old students and friends).
