Somewhere in there a Sniffin Kelly had a daughter named Sarah, who married Casper Bellows, and became "Sarah E. Kelly Bellows". One would think that Sniffin Kelly Bellows was a descendant of Casper and Sarah, but as far as I can tell they had only one child who died in infancy. Perhaps the Kellies and the Bellowses lived in proximity and intermarried over several generations? On Sun, Sep 11, 2016 at 9:04 AM, Hans Havermann <gladhobo@teksavvy.com> wrote:
They were of course related: Your Sniffin, the great-grandson of Luther Bellows (b. 1792, Vermont) by way of his son Luther Jr. and grandson "Kelley"; my suggested Sniffin, the grandson of Luther by way of his son Merrick Willard.

Including one who, honest to God, was christened Sniffin Kelly Bellows.
Is this the one (Delaware County NY, 1842-1928) who died of "an accumulation of gas"?
No. He was indeed from upstate NY, but died in the 70s or 80s of an accumulation of carcinogens from home-rolled cigarettes.
