I suggest that your friend go the public library and browse the mathematics section for something interesting. -- Gene Presumably times have changed. ~1960, I worked in the Merchantville NJ Public Library, which doubled as the High School Library. It contained **ZERO** math books. The only math in the whole building was in old Britannica articles. (And Martin Gardner columns, but the SciAms were in storage.) --rwg
