It says: "UNCUT: 'V2 Schneider' - a tribute to Florian? db: Of course." And of course it's a reference, I just don't see how it is a tribute. The lyrics in Bowie's track are no more than "V2 Schneider", and don't leave much room for irony. If you want to pay homage to a Japanese you would not mention "kamikaze", would you? Maybe it's an inside joke. What I still regard as a much Kraftwerk inspired track is "The Falcon and the Snowman", although the music is by Pat Metheny. (Metheney had (has?) a Synclavier, like KW...)
