Hi! Just a little side note, now that we're all so busy with the Helsinki concert; I've got another small thing to discuss. I'm listening to a concert from London 1976. There's two funny things about this concert, one I knew and one I just found out. The first thing is that Europe Endless and Trans-Europe Express are played live - the year before the album was released. It's clearly sketches, it's the same songs as on the album, but the lyrics in Europe Endless is sund totally different, with another melody, same with the arrangemens. The second thing is in the vocoded introduction. It's the one used at many concerts, you know "...aus Deutschland - die Mensch Machine - Kraftwerk". But this was 1976, two years before die Mensch Machine was released. Obviuosly they had some part of the concept laid out already by the time of Radioaktivität! Does anybody know when the first reference to the Man Machine was made? /Joakim PS. I'm still downloading the Helsinki concert. Be patient...
