Re: SV: Activerecord / Xmission
I find one list quite enough to keep me informed about KW. If I have to subscribe to two or more I'd rather not bother with any. So I'm sticking with this one. I've had no problems with it and can't see any reason to change. So Jan, looks like I'm not going to read any more of your postings, sorry to hear that. ian t

So far, I think it isn't absolutely clear if there is a general consensus among Xmission subscribers to change over to Activerecord. Any opinions?
So I'll do the first step: I will stay at Xmission as long as it is necessary, but because of the problems some people seems to have with it, I will not make active use of it any longer. Further messages will go only to Activerecord.
C U there! Jan

As for me, I never had any trouble with the Xmission list. But there seem to be serious problems with it: Christophe Socquet schrieb am 07.10.2003 14:21 Uhr:
Don't forget new people can't subscribe to the Xmission list, so it will become more and more private. :-(
I know we all love this list for historical reason, but this list is no longer managed.
As long as it's not possible to get a grip on this situation, the switchover to the Activerecords list strikes me as the best possible solution. Do you know a better way without crosspostings? Jan
