which were in no way related to the audio at the same moment, quite disturbing. Maybe real time is impossible at the moment, and synching usual outpout of the tune to the same one in video would need to be too tight for being practical.
With all due respect, this is not completely true. Exempli gratia: Finnish band Pan sonic base all of their visuals on a (vertical) oscilloscope signal waving on a screen behind them synchronized in real time with the audio they are playing. At least in their 1998 tour.
Please let me add that the intro was the same of http://www.kraftwerk.com.
As I said: not exactly web = loop (for size reasons) intro = noodle (not quite repetitive)
You are utterly right. I beg you pardon for my mistaken statement. Sorry! By the way, the correct spelling is "hasta la vista, baby!". Anyway, no "problemo"! :-P ;-DER AUTOMAT

I was just pointing that maybe it was just difficult if the video is on DVDs or videodisc, you need some hell of a sync, and that really hard. the timing needin to be really tight as the visual input is closely relative to the music you're more prone to mark when what you see is out of synch with what you hear. It's less an pain in the ass with a different visual, people would mark it (as they actually did in Paris) much less. It's a question of milliseconds, but that's the whole affair. If you just use the audio played and run it through an oscilloscope, it's way easier: no synch involved, just a delay line eventually
