oh well- even more "splitting hairs" then! honestly, i'm sick and tired of your self-righteous replies by now, brother!
============ What a coincidence. Some guy named John *just* started a topic called "splitting hairs" on a popular jazz list and has an alias with a .de suffix on the same list. Too funny!
it may surprise you, but hip hop was indeed "born" around the same time as kraftwerk released their t.e.e. album.
The album was written in 1976...nobody but a few Brooklyners knew anything about a hip hop. And it wasn't music like rap, but a way of life and art by high schoolers.
Maybe Ralf thought of the idea of TEE November 11th, 1974. Would that be the "birth" of Trans Europe Express? We must focus, brother.
fact is that you run out of arguments and all you do right now is splitting even more hairs, brother! get real- and maybe become a hair stylist then! ;)
========== Wasn't your premise that KW stole from Hip Hop? You're con-fusing us, brother.
p.s.: as far as i'm concerned, this topic is closed, as all relevant info is out and only ignorant and arrogant wannabe's would discuss it any further, sorry.
peace, y' all!
------------ Calling people "ignorant" "arrogant" then signing off with "peace" sounds like a call for help, brother. Even the greatest hiphoppers change themselves in the looking glass. amir
